In addition to opportunities to serve through the Get Involved App or working directly in FamilySearch to verify names, attach records, and add to the tree on your own lines, the BYU Record Linking Lab has opportunities to help grow the tree through targeted projects. Projects include The African American Families Project, The World War I Heros Project, The 1910 Census Project, Record Hints for Ukraine, Grow Tree for Puerto Rico, and the Italy Tree Growth Project.
For each project, you will be directed to a spreadsheet of links that will take you to FamilySearch to link a particular record. Then you will type in your name as the volunteer who linked the record and add a "1" to the next box to show that this record has been linked.
